The hosts were fantastic - attentive, friendly, and relaxed. The food was absolutely divine! The facilities were just what we needed and more. The staff were impeccable and very friendly. The location is peaceful, serene, and perfect for star-gazing. The included meals were all delicious. The in-room massages were outstanding. Special mention to Suz for her helpful local advice. Solitaire Lodge is set in delightful surroundings.

Felt very cared for, nothing to complain about.

Perfect escape with elegant simplicity. Beautiful accommodation with attentive staff. Fine food and beautiful walks.

Not quite luxury compared to other lodges. Reception area and some rooms need TLC.

solitaire lodge in rotorua surpassed our expectations with its perfect 5-star location, attentive owners who arranged amazing excursions, and a delightful suite overlooking the bay. it truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for better hospitality during our stay.

Breakfast buffet chaos with children serving themselves.
